RS&A, Inc. the largest Independent Service Provider for radiation therapy equipment in the Southeastern US, currently has an immediate opening for field service representatives to maintain radiation therapy linear accelerators and simulators at hospitals and cancer centers.  Field service representatives are responsible for emergency service and preventative maintenance inspections of the customer’s equipment.

Service representatives are required to perform tasks involving electronics, computer, and electromechanical ability.  RS&A representatives service medical equipment with limited technical or direct supervision.  They maintain customer confidence through technical expertise, including efficient and effective troubleshooting methods.  Maintains detailed records of service visits, including the technical problems encountered and parts employed to correct those problems.  

The individual must be able to lift 50 pounds above their head.  The individual must be able to perform their duties while standing for long periods of time.  Self motivation is essential.  The individual must have good interpersonal skills when relating to customers in a hospital environment.  

Field service representatives will receive class training on linear accelerator theory and radiation safety.  They are partnered with a senior representative to ensure proper training and understanding of the equipment.

Two years minimum electronics related college level education.  A military background in radar and electronics experience is preferred.
