Teledyne e2v US announces RSA Inc as the official distributor of its medical and industrial linear accelerator products in the Americas

Teledyne e2v US, a business unit of Teledyne Digital Imaging US, Inc., has announced today that it has appointed RSA Inc, a USA based independent service provider of medical equipment, as its distributor of its linear accelerator medical and industrial products in the Americas.

Teledyne e2v has more than 60 years’ experience designing, manufacturing and delivering high-quality products used in radiotherapy, security and industrial applications. It is the established market leader for the supply of medical magnetrons, thyratrons and solid-state modulators in radiotherapy systems: vital components for generating the microwave power required for the radiation treatment of tumours. These products will now be available through RSA in the Americas.

RSA was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in North Carolina. It is a leading independent service partner within the radiation oncology market, providing linear accelerator (linac) service, parts, and equipment. Through this relationship, RSA offers immediate access to Teledyne e2v products throughout the Americas, including an enhanced warranty and technical support process. It is committed to be a good partner to the linac engineer community, supporting research and troubleshooting initiatives of Teledyne e2v products to improve system performance.

Steve Elwell, Vice President and General Manager for RF Power, Teledyne e2v, said “RS&A is well known for its customer support, technical expertise and high-quality service in radiotherapy. The relationship with R&SA allows us to more effectively extend our offering to the radiotherapy service community in the Americas. I look forward to a long and successful relationship.”

DJ Conrad, President of RSA, said “RSA is excited to be able to offer Teledyne e2v’s magnetrons, thyratrons and accessories for sale and support in the Americas. This distribution agreement with Teledyne e2v strengthens our product portfolio in support in the linac service community. Collaborating and learning together is critical to our collective ability to have a lasting impact in cancer care.”
